How to attract customers through Foam Board Advertising?

A business stands on four strong pillars- Production and Manufacturing, Commerce & Finance, Marketing & Promotion, and Human Resource. These are the pillars which help a business grow and can even make a business fall in case marketing and promotion is not done correctly. Being an IT expert, I used to think that only digital mode of marketing and advertisement is enough to attract customers, however I wasn’t getting many leads. Then, one fine day, one of my friends suggested using foam board printing option to advertise locally and it changed my life. I understood that a perfect blend of digital and print media advertising can help in multiplying the profit by generating clients through online as well as offline platforms.
Wondering how I attract customers through print media advertising?

My idea of attracting customers is divided into five stages which include:

Attention: The first step towards an effective advertisement is to put your attention towards the products and services you wish to sell & then create an ad which instantly attracts the attention of the passerby. The main idea is to grab the attention of the viewers by using strong and self-explanatory words in your ads. Some of the powerful words can be “you, for your welfare, we are here to help etc.” Also, don’t forget to present your ads in the subtle and sweet manner which defines the aim of your business and avoid harsh words to leave a greater impression.

Problem: Once you have picked some of the powerful words, then the next step is to understand the problem of the customers. Why would a customer opt for your business? Think over it! For a businessman, the focus should be on serving the customers with the best products and services. For an effective salesperson, you need to put yourself in other person’s shoes to understand their perspective & problems and then use various techniques to achieve goals.

Solution: “People don’t want to solve their problem; rather they want the problem solved easily.” If you can understand this mindset and devise a solution-oriented approach then you can easily generate leads. This is yet another key point behind the success of my business. When I advertise for my business, I make sure that I follow the result-oriented approach in which I target their problems and then offer a solution which is effective and fact-driven.

Visualisation: Once the strategy is formulated by following the above three steps, then comes the visualisation part of the advertising. You should get your advertisement designed in such a manner that a viewer can visualise and feel how much better their life will get if they get a chance to use your product or service. I always make my advertisement highly creative and informative which helps a viewer to satisfy their hunger for knowledge, thus it attracts potential customers.

Action: Have you visualised your advertisement which can bring the attention of the viewers and can solve their problems? If yes, then the final step is to bring your idea into action by using a powerful and effective call to action words. For me, an advertising campaign is incomplete without using an effective call to action words like act now, buy now, visit now, available at the store, now available, etc. All these words have a powerful impact on the viewer’s mind psychologically and induce the viewer to pay a visit.

So, if your strategy is ready, then the last step of action is to get the idea pictured creatively.
